A man with shoulder-length gray hair and a beard takes a selfie, wearing a brightly colored tie-dye T-shirt with a black and yellow pattern at the center, in front of a plain cream-colored wall with white trim.

Improbably Exceptional.

Welcome to Infinite Dyes!

Thanks for taking the time to stop by.

It all started recently, when a friend of mine wanted a tie dye party for his birthday. It was up to me to research what was involved, and I got hooked. I adored the big bright colors and geometric designs. I knew about the simple shirts you’d find at a head shop, or Shakedown Street, for example. But I quickly learned that the world of tie dye could be so much more sophisticated!

It’s nice to do something for others that doesn’t require me to spend hours behind a computer, digitally editing, shaping things to perfection, and artificially smoothing over rough edges. None of these things are part of tie dye, and it’s refreshing. It’s always exciting when a shirt has been cured and I get to open it, bringing that design into the world.

So, go ahead. I’d love it if you bought a shirt or two. I could always use a few dollars. But it feels even better when you enjoy wearing my creations as much as I enjoy making them.

Wishing you peace in this troubled world,

Steve
